Flexible Multibody Dynamics Simulator
Finite-element simulation of a clamped cantilever beam with BDF-1 integrator.
This project simulates the dynamic response of a clamped cantilever beam using B3-24 beam elements, BDF-1 time integration, and Newton-Raphson solves. The study evaluates mesh convergence and performance scaling across 1–16 elements, showing tip deflection converging to approximately -2.92 mm and computational cost increasing quadratically with mesh refinement.
